Cookie Policy

Last updated: 14 July 2026

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the website function, remember your preferences, and can be used to understand how visitors use the site. This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies David & Stone Group Ltd (company number 04782620, "we", "us") uses on this website, and how you can control them, in line with the UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

2. Managing Your Preferences

When you first visit our site, a banner asks you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. Your choice is stored on your device so we don't ask again on future visits. You can change your mind at any time using the button below, or by clearing your browser's site data for this website.

3. Cookies We Use

Category Purpose Status
Strictly Necessary Remembers your cookie consent choice (stored via your browser's local storage rather than a traditional cookie) so the banner does not repeatedly appear. Always active — required for the site to function
Analytics Would help us understand how visitors use the site (e.g. pages viewed, time on site) to improve content and navigation. Not currently in use. Will only be activated if you accept non-essential cookies, and only once such a service is added to the site.

4. Third-Party Services

Our website loads web font files from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) so pages display correctly. This connects your browser to Google's servers to retrieve font files, which may involve your IP address being visible to Google, but does not set cookies on your device.

When you submit a contact form, your details are sent securely to our service providers, Supabase (data storage) and Resend (email delivery), so that we can respond to your enquiry. This is a direct data submission you control by submitting the form, not a cookie or tracking technology — see our Privacy Policy for details on how that data is used.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this cookie policy as our use of cookies and similar technologies changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
